Artist Talk with Victoria Brace at The Art Spirit Gallery

Please join The Art Spirit Gallery on Thursday, August 1 as featured artist Victoria Brace of Spokane discusses the her unique approach to cityscape and figurative painting. The free talk begins at 5:30 pm; everyone is welcome.
 
 
Spokane artist Victoria Brace was born and trained in Russia, where she graduated from the Moscow College of Art. Her work can be found in private collections across Russia, Western Europe and the United States. The Art Spirit Gallery has proudly exhibited Victoria’s work since 2008.
 
“As I paint, I find that colors carry emotions and tell stories. The brush strokes build up textures, conceal or enhance the previous layers, and things
start happening under the surface, as if the painting takes on a life of its own.”
