Liquid Motion: A Multimedia Dance Experience

Ripple Dance company and Drawn Together Arts present "Liquid Motion" a dance performance, featuring local performers exploring the ways water moves and the ways we move with it. With a range of live ensemble performances and screen dances produced in collaboration with local filmmakers, you won't want to miss this imaginative interpretation of the way humans live and interact with water. Artistic director Crystal Bain and her students and artistic collaborators began working on this show in June of 2021, working together to figure out how to show with movement the importance of water in our lives. Together they created six dances and a larger piece that became the screen dance titled "Ripple" that will premiere at this show. Each piece explores a different aspect of water's place in our world and our lives and when you see them together, we hope you'll discover the power of liquid motion.
