Description

We are honoring our veterans
by providing a free lunch
on Memorial Day
at various local restaurants

For Veterans interested in a free lunch:
We are requiring RSVPs by Friday, May 27th to the contacts below. When you call in, we will provide a final list of participating restaurants for you to choose from.

Please bring with you, as proof of veteran status, one of the following:

Current or expired military ID
DD-214
Dog Tags
A picture of yourself in uniform
Any service paperwork and matching ID
Coming in VFW, American Legion, USMC League, Sub Vet, etc uniform, hat, or clothing

Only veterans eat free. Spouses, children, friends will have to pay for the items they order.

If you are interested in supporting this event:
We are looking for donations to help cover the cost of this event. Please make monetary donations, in check form, payable to VFW Post 889 (write "Veteran's Lunch" on the memo line). This is a tax deductible donation. Please mail your checks to Eric Soles or Patti Leach at the addresses below.
