CYT-North Idaho Spring Theater Arts Classes Begin

Classes will meet at the  CYT-North Idaho Campus at 2775 Howard Street, Suite 7, Coeur d' Alene, every Tuesday from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. or everyThursday from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. for ten weeks.  CYT-North Idaho welcomes children ages 6-18 years to participate in classes. Courses offered this session include:  Our Gang, an Intro to Theater Class for 6 & 7 year olds, Drama 101, Dance 101, Voice 101, and a variety of specialty classes including: Tech 101 , an intro to "behind-the-scenes" of a production, an Intermediate Voice Class focusing on Gospel music, Lyrical Dance, and Will to Bill, and intermediate drama class where students will deconstruct the meanings of some of Shakespeare's most famous works.    All students will perform in Showcase at the end of the session with their respective class at the Kroc Community Theater on May 28.  In addition to classes, all students ages 8-18 are eligible to audition for the Spring show, Great American Tall Tales.   For more information about CYT-North Idaho, spring classes, or Great American Tall Tales, please call the CYT-North Idaho office at (208) 765-8600, email the office  atoffice@cytnorthidaho.org or visit the CYT website at:  cytnorthidaho.org .

CYT is a non-profit after-school theater arts training program for studentsages 6-18. Since it's inception in 1981, CYT has grown to be the largest youth theater in the nation. CYT-North Idaho opened with summer camp in July 2007.
