Saturday, August 22nd Schedule of Events at the Heart of the West Art Show & Auction

10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.: Exhibit rooms open to the public!

Meet and talk to over 60 premier Western artists in an intimate studio setting while enjoying food, drinks, demonstrations and educational presentations. Last chance to preview the live auction artwork in the Shore Room!

Location: 1st floor Lake Tower, 2nd and 3rd floors Park Tower, and Convention Center of the Coeur d’Alene Resort

10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Art Chats

Charles Fritz: 100 Paintings Illustrating the Journals of Lewis & Clark. Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea as our 2015 North Star Award Co-Winner Charles Fritz discusses his massive project and answers questions, followed by a book signing. Then join us for the presentation of the award at the beginning of the live auction!

Location: Convention Center of the Coeur d’Alene Resort

4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Heart of the West Live Auction

Join us in the Coeur d’Alene Resort’s Convention Center (Bays 1-3) for this show’s exciting inaugural fine art auction, sponsored by Glamma Wine! Over 150 lots from many of the American West’s premier artists will be sold by Black and Associates Auctioneers, beginning with the completed Artist Demonstration pieces. After the auction, make sure to visit the artist exhibit rooms one more time before they close at 10:00 p.m.!
