Description

Do you have a scrumptious holiday recipe that has been in your family for generations or, perhaps, a party dish that you created that wows guests and family alike? Then show it off at Pilgrim’s Holiday Community Cooking Contest! All we ask is that your recipe include at least two natural or organic items purchased at Pilgrim’s Market – the rest is up to you and the community food critics! Each contestant will decide who will win 1st and 2nd place in each category by tasting and voting on everyone’s dishes before we open the doors to the public. The People’s Choice Award will be determine by the votes cast by the general public customers after they have sampled your wares. Don’t miss this chance to win and celebrate your favorite holiday foods!

Three Prizes
- 1st Place in Each Category: $100 Pilgrim’s Gift Card
- 2nd Place in Each Category: $50 Pilgrim’s Gift Card
- People’s Choice Award: $50 Pilgrim’s Gift Card

Contest Schedule
12:00-12:30pm Set up
12:30-1:00pm Contestants taste and vote on their favorites in all three categories.
1:00-1:30pm Tasting is open to the public, who will vote for the People’s Choice Award.
2:00pm Winners are announced and awarded.

RULES: Only one entry is allowed per person, and Pilgrim’s Market employees are allowed to compete. Each recipe must include at least two items purchased from Pilgrim’s Market, and each contestant must bring 20 copies of their recipe for display and distribution at their table. Due to the fact that Pilgrim’s Market does not have a demo kitchen available for events, contestants are responsible for any small appliances required to warm or chill items at the Market. Extension cords are available, but limited, so contestants are also encouraged to bring their own extension cord and/or power strip, if needed.
