One of the toughest events in the world of sports, more than 2,000 athletes will compete in the Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene Triathlon.
A 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run in succession. Athletes begin their day at 7:00 a.m. and have until midnight to complete the course.
Ironman Coeur d’Alene starts off with a two-loop swim in beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene. The bike course takes athletes through rural northern Idaho and the run course, known for its spectator support, is the highlight of the race.
