What is a Hootenanny? hoot·en·an·ny [hoot-n-an-ee] noun, plural hoot·en·an·nies. 1. a social gathering or informal concert featuring folk singing and, sometimes, dancing. 2. an informal session at which folk singers and instrumentalists perform for their own enjoyment. 3. older use: a thingumabob. origin: 1910–15; origin uncertain. Lutherhaven’s 8th Annual Boots & Pearls Hootenanny will include fiddlers and other wonderful musicians. It’ll be a time of celebration to lift up all God’s done over the last 77 years. Dancing optional!
How will guests get to the event? Where do I meet the boat? Where should I park? Guests will arrive at Camp Lutherhaven via CdA Cruise boat. The boat will depart the CdA Resort promptly at 3:30pm. Check-in opens at 3:00 at the Boardwalk cruise boat launch on the east side of the CdA Resort. Boat will return to the resort by approximately 9:45 pm. The Coeur d’Alene Resort may have complimentary valet parking depending on availability in lot for Boots & Pearls guests. You may also park in the Tubbs Hill paid parking lot. Should you choose to drive, check-in will be open at the top of camp near the Chapel at 4:00 pm.
The boat will dock at the Camp Lutherhaven beach where guests can choose to walk up the hill or be chauffeured by vehicles from the beach to the Dining Hall. The opening reception, fiddle band and beerand wine tasting activities will be in the newly remodeled Gathering Place, outside the Dining Hall. After the evening’s program guests will return to the outdoor space for a delicious rustic, buffet style catered dinner! Transportation will be back down to the boat for those who prefer not to walk.
The attire says “Cowboy casual with a touch of bling!” What does this mean? Think rodeo chic. Think denim and diamonds. Comfortable enough to walk the dusty trails of camp; dressed up enough to feel ready for a special evening. Anything goes!

Are my tickets tax deductible? The ticket price is not tax-deductible. All sponsorships and donations made by paddle-raise are tax-deductible.
