This April, you can win prizes through Panhandle Health District for the time you devote to physical activity—everything from washing floors to running marathons. For PHD’s Moving Minutes Challenge, you keep track of your physical activity minutes daily and turn them in to PHD weekly. Reach the goal of 150 minutes per week and your name goes into a drawing for prizes. You can participate as an individual or on a team. At the end of the month, the person or team with the highest average minutes of physical activity per person wins a fabulous trophy and the awe of five counties.
Visit www.phd1.idaho.gov/preventative/MovingMinutes for details and to register. Or visit www.Facebook.com/MovingMinutesChallenge. The Challenge starts April 1 in coordination with the start of National Public Health Week. It ends April 28. PHD will draw for prizes weekly and provide activities and information about events to help your minutes grow. Moving Minutes Challenge is for all ages and abilities. Don’t miss out on the chance to win a prize for playing in the springtime sunshine.
