Description

Come RIDE THE HIAWATHA - a legendary Scenic Bike Trail. Open 7 days a week 8:30 a to 4:15 p (PDT) with slightly longer hours on select weekends thru Sept 1st. This is a Rails to Trails Hall of Fame Trail and the RR tracks thru this area was once described as "the most scenic section of RR in the country".

We have Rental Bikes for all sizes, as well as Bicycles Built for Two, Adult Recumbents, Adult Tricycles, Tags and Burley Trailers for rent for children.

This is a gently downhill extremely scenic bicycle trail that stretches for 15 miles down a 1-2% gently downhill old RR Grade. And we offer an optional Shuttle Bus Service that brings you back to the high point saving you from riding back up. But guests can ride it both ways.

Key features - There are 10 DARK TUNNELS with the first stretching for 1.661 miles long, 7 SKY HIGH RR TRESTLES (bridges) with the highest being 232 ft high and the longest at 850ft long.

Along this section of Rail Trail guests will encounter 50 Historic Signs that describe the life along the RR. You'll likely encounter some wildlife too as this is within two US National Forests.

SAVE MONEY By making a reservation a minimum of 24 hours before the day you want to ride the trail.
Visit: www.RideTheHiawatha.com to learn more or make a reservation. By doing so you'll save on your Trail Pass, Shuttle Pass and Rental Equipment.
