In North Idaho, opioid (especially Fentanyl) use is at an all-time high. Statewide in Idaho, 44% of overdose deaths in 2021 involved synthetic opioids compared to 21% in 2020 and 12% in 2019, according to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. Based on member feedback, we are excited to address this topic, which will open our eyes to what is happening in our community. We will be joined by Captain John Kempf, sharing how, as business owners help educate and support their staff if they struggle with drug addiction.
