About Us

Coeur d’ Alene Hockey Academy is located at Frontier Ice Arena in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. Student athletes attend Genesis Preparatory Academy in Post Falls, Idaho where they are held to NCAA academic standards. Coeur d’ Alene Hockey Academy emphasizes academic excellence, as well as developing our student athletes on and off the ice. There are many decisions to be made with hockey and academic careers in mind. Coeur d’ Alene Hockey Academy gives their student athletes the tools for extending those careers. Student athletes live with host families in the Coeur d’ Alene, Post Falls and Hayden communities for the 10 month school year.

Coeur d’ Alene Hockey Academy will be in its fourth season of participating in the prestigious Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL). The CSSHL was founded in 2009 and was specifically designed to provide like-minded hockey players an increased level of competition and exposure. The CSSHL is considered to be the premier Tier 1 AAA League in North America for U16 and U18 Boys players and now offers a U19 Girls Division. It has produced many high performance players who have gone on to play Junior hockey, Collegiate hockey and Pro hockey. Coeur d’ Alene Hockey Academy also participates in USA Hockey Showcases and Tournaments which gives their student athletes exposure in both Canada and the US.

If you live in the CDA community and are interested in hosting (billeting) a player for the school year, please contact Carrie Kerzman, Billet Coordinator, at (208)659-4195 or
