Leadership Coeur d’Alene Class of 2026 Completes Community Service Project at Davidson Family Hospitality Center
The Leadership Coeur d’Alene Class of 2026, through the Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber, recently completed a community service project at the Davidson Family Hospitality Center on the Kootenai Health campus.
The class volunteered its time to stain the interior fence at the center, helping bring a more welcoming and refreshed atmosphere to the families and guests who stay there while receiving or supporting loved ones through medical care in the region.
Volunteers began the project at 8 a.m. and wrapped up around 1 p.m. The work was part of the class’s ongoing commitment to serving the community and supporting local resources that make a meaningful difference for families across the Inland Northwest.
The Davidson Family Hospitality Center is a 20-unit, home-like lodging facility that provides safe, comfortable and affordable overnight stays for adult and pediatric patients, as well as families receiving medical treatment in the region. The center was established through a partnership between Kootenai Health, the Community Cancer Fund and the Kootenai Health Foundation, with operational support from Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest.
“We value our community resources, and it was great to see so many people come together for the betterment of our community,” said Robert Davies, Vice President of the Leadership Coeur d’Alene Class of 2026.
The project reflects the Leadership Coeur d’Alene Class of 2026’s commitment to hands-on service, community partnership and supporting organizations that provide comfort and care to local families during difficult times.
