NAC Expands Idaho Presence with New Coeur d’Alene Office Led by Local Team

New office strengthens NAC’s local presence while connecting North Idaho clients to the resources of the 200-person architecture and design firm.

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — October 29, 2026 — NAC has opened a new office in Coeur d’Alene, expanding its local presence in North Idaho and building on more than three decades of work across Idaho. NAC’s new office is led by a collaborative and highly experienced team that has worked and lived in Idaho for decades.

The new Coeur d’Alene office positions NAC to work more closely with clients, community leaders, and project partners throughout North Idaho and statewide. The team provides architecture, planning, and design services for healthcare, PK-12 and higher education, housing and community spaces.

NAC’s investment in Coeur d’Alene reflects the firm’s commitment to being part of the communities it serves. The office’s Idaho-based team of leaders brings decades of local experience while giving clients direct access to NAC’s broader expertise in architecture, planning, engineering, interior design, lighting design, and environmental graphics.

The NAC Coeur d’Alene office is led by Jack Schneider, PE, LEED AP, Managing Principal; Michael Cole, AIA, LEED AP, Principal; Colin Anderson, DBIA, Associate Principal; Sara Clark, NCIDQ, Senior Associate; and Rod Rada, AIA, Senior Associate and Senior Project Designer.

Jack Schneider, PE, LEED AP, NAC Managing Principal, said the office represents an intentional investment in North Idaho and in relationships that extend beyond individual projects.

“Opening a Coeur d’Alene office is an exciting milestone and a natural extension of NAC’s long-standing commitment to the Inland Northwest,” Schneider said. “Our clients benefit from local people who know the community’s priorities and opportunities, and a multidisciplinary team with the expertise to tackle complex challenges.”

“Opening a new office here where we live is not just about expanding our business; it’s about planting deeper roots in the community we love, growing side-by-side with our friends and neighbors, and building a stronger future together,” said NAC Principal Michael Cole, AIA, LEED AP.

NAC has worked with Idaho organizations since 1989, including Kootenai Health, the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and Kootenai County. Its work in the state includes projects supporting healthcare, education and community infrastructure.

“NAC consistently delivers exceptional results across multiple projects at Kootenai Health, and we welcome their new Coeur d’Alene office and local team,” said Robert Kalisch, facilities project management supervisor at Kootenai Health. “NAC’s thoughtful design approach, strong collaboration and commitment to excellence continue to enhance our facilities and support outstanding patient care.”

NAC Associate Principal Colin Anderson, DBIA, said, “For me, this expansion is more than opening a new office. After more than 25 years living in Idaho, it’s an opportunity to strengthen my roots in a community I care about and provide local clients with the benefit of a team that understands the region and its unique needs.”

“There is a profound responsibility in designing for the place you live,” said Sara Clark, NCIDQ, Senior Associate at NAC. “In Idaho, your neighbors are your clients, and every project is a chance to elevate the community you love.”

“There is real value in working where we live,” said Rod Rada, AIA, NAC Senior Associate and Senior Project Designer. “Our Coeur d’Alene office gives us an opportunity to be more connected to our shared community as we listen closely to our clients, collaborate with local partners, and help to shape the region’s continued growth.”

The Coeur d’Alene office adds to NAC’s locations in Columbus, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, San Diego, Seattle, and Spokane. Across its offices, the firm brings together architecture, planning, engineering, interior design, lighting design and environmental graphics to create people-centered places for learning, healing, and human development.
