The Art Spirit Gallery Bids Farewell
With a heavy heart, we announce that The Art Spirit Gallery will be closing our doors forever. On Friday, February 13, 2026, during ArtWalk, we invite you to our final sale and community gathering.
For 30 years, you have been our family: artists, collectors, neighbors, and friends who have filled this space with creation, conversation, and care. We are profoundly grateful for every memory and every moment shared.
Thank you for being part of our story and allowing us to be part of yours.
We hope to see you on Friday, February 13, from 5-8 p.m. to celebrate what the gallery has meant to all of us.
A Closing Statement for The Art Spirit Gallery
For nearly thirty years, The Art Spirit Gallery has been more than a business.
It has been a gathering place.
A refuge.
A classroom.
A conversation.
A home for artists and art lovers alike.
When I became part of this gallery twelve years ago, and when I took on ownership ten years ago, I did so with one guiding belief:
That art matters.
That community matters.
That creating space for creativity is a form of service.
Together, we weathered extraordinary storms.
We survived economic recessions.
A global pandemic.
A devastating flood.
Personal illness.
Family caregiving.
And years when it would have been easier to walk away.
But we stayed.
Because this place was never just about sales.
It was about belonging.
It was about young artists finding their voice.
Collectors discovering beauty.
Neighbors finding connection.
And strangers becoming friends.
This gallery was built on trust, generosity, and love for this community.
It was built without shortcuts.
Without spectacle.
Without tearing anyone else down.
Only with steady work, open doors, and open hearts.
Closing this chapter is painful.
But it is not a failure.
It is the completion of a long, honest, meaningful story.
I am proud of how we showed up.
I am proud of the artists we championed.
I am proud of the conversations we hosted.
I am proud of the kindness we practiced.
And most of all, I am grateful.
To every artist who trusted us with their work.
To every visitor who wandered in and stayed awhile.
To every supporter who believed in what we were building.
To every friend who carried this place in their heart.
You made this possible.
As we close our doors, I hope what remains is not sadness, but gratitude.
Gratitude for thirty years of creativity.
Gratitude for a community that cared.
Gratitude for a space where art and humanity met.
The Art Spirit Gallery will live on in every life it touched.
Thank you for being part of that story.
With deep appreciation,
Blair Williams & Team Spirit
