Henry V

Description

Shakespeare Coeur d’Alene presents Henry V

“We few, we happy few, we band of brothers…”

Leaving behind his wild days and wayward companions, English King Henry V is determined to be a wise and worthy sovereign. Henry leads an army across the Channel to claim the French throne which he believes is rightly his. A long and brutal campaign, compounded with personal betrayal and loss, leads Henry and his exhausted men to Agincourt, where against overwhelming odds, they fight for victory.

Please join us in the theater at 6pm before the Friday and Saturday performances, and 1pm on Sundays for a free pre-performance talk given by our Artistic Director, Mary T. Bowers. Mary will set the historical context for Henry V.
