Saturday, January 24, 2026 | 3:00 PM Schuler Performing Arts Center at North Idaho College The Coeur d’Alene Symphony Orchestra invites you to experience The Nature of Us, a joyful and imaginative family concert celebrating the beauty of the natural world through music. This special afternoon performance features a meaningful collaboration with the North Idaho Youth Symphony Orchestra, bringing together young musicians and professional players for a shared musical experience. The program includes many familiar and beloved works, including selections from Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 “From the New World,” Grofé’s Grand Canyon Suite, Handel’s Water Music, and Grieg’s In the Hall of the Mountain King. Each piece paints a vivid musical picture inspired by nature, landscapes, animals, and people. Audience members are also invited to arrive early for a free pre-concert lecture at 2:00 PM, led by Phil Baldwin, offering insights into the music and themes featured in the program.
